Tommy Tercilla was a healthy, loving, and ambitious 19 year old man with a bright future ahead of him. Tommy was a stand out student and a member of the Wharton Business School Class of 2019. During a trip back home for the Thanksgiving holiday, the unthinkable happened. A healthy and fit young man fainted, and was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital it was confirmed he had suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm. A few days later, he was officially pronounced brain dead. Tommy is one of many who die from brain diseases each year, and not much can be done about it. Inspired by this, a group of Tommy's close friends founded the Thomas G. Tercilla Neurological Research Foundation, in an effort to ensure that one day an event such as this will no longer be possible.
